takes a bit to get a forum recognized out there. make sure your site shows up in search engine results. there are several 2tc/3tc sites out there. perhaps making it a specialized niche or focus would set this apart. I kind of like the te51 focus here. there is enough focus on the earlier stuff.
I'm trying to restore a 79 te51 right now for my brother. just wanted to say hi, give this site a bump and if anyone knows where i can score some te51 sr5 parts let me know!
Thanks for joining the forum and the suggestions on it. I know it takes a while to get it going and i should put more effort into it. i have some 51 parts, but need all i got for projects. im in the middle of doing a 3s gte MR2 for my son. i need to update my pics on it. waiting on hoses from the UK. thanks again for joining and check back as i know this will grow thanks crash_x
cool. thanks crash. you could potentially run your own blog of sorts on here following the different projects.
I was able to find some parts so far - just need a driveshaft and a bell housing for a t50 trannie. I could use a pedal box too that will fit a te51. I have been able to find most of the other parts so far. I have a few projects I'm about to tear into once I find everything I'm looking for. Maybe I can post some pics of that stuff and the progress on here for others to benefit.
I am looking at your pic and smiling because the liftback I had back in the 80's had louvres on it too. I even had a custom bra that I had made for it.
Hi marssman, sorry so long to get back to you, but thats kind of how i am. LOL es PLEASE feel free to post your projects here. thats what its about. every trick that is shared is the way to keep old knowledge around. for sale and trade stuff as well. I am into the TE51s, but all rides, projects, tricks and short cuts (that work please) are welcome. also a few new pics on the MR2 Thanks Crash_x
Welcome all. Please take a monent and say some thing. what would make this a better site?

GinoX: Gosh, this takes me back to the early nineties when some of my cousins and me swapped in a Frankensteined 2TG with VW, Dodge and Chevy parts into this model Corolla
May 11, 2015 4:30:18 GMT -8
Crash_X: GinoX, this corolla has parts as old (model years)as '40s Studabaker and Desoto, and wiring that is'98 Acura.

Crash_X: the old Black Toy is the one that was really Frankensteined (the whole car), the new one is more like his Bride, as in all the good stuff that worked will go to her
